Give a little joy with Toys of Joy 🎁
Every child deserves moments that simply feel like childhood.
Toys of Joy is AusRelief’s year-round initiative providing brand-new toys, gifts, books, stationery and other age-appropriate items to children and young people experiencing hardship, crisis or significant change.
The initiative supports families experiencing financial hardship or housing instability, newly arrived families, children in foster and kinship care, young people experiencing serious illness and others doing it tough across our local communities.
Toys of Joy runs throughout the year, with larger activations around occasions such as Christmas and Eid, alongside distributions through community organisations, hospitals and local services.
There are a few ways you can get involved:
- Make a donation to help AusRelief purchase toys and gifts based on current community needs.
- Donate brand-new items including toys, books, stationery, creative supplies and age-appropriate gifts for teenagers.
- Host a toy drive at your workplace or school and bring your community together to give.
Because sometimes something as simple as a new toy, book or gift can create a moment of joy when it’s needed most.
