In March 2026, Lebanon has entered a devastating new phase of crisis. Escalating aerial attacks across residential areas have triggered one of the fastest waves of displacement in the country’s modern history.
More than half a million people have been forced to flee their homes within days, seeking safety in overcrowded shelters across Lebanon. Many families escaped with nothing – leaving behind homes, belongings, and livelihoods built over generations.
Today, displaced families are struggling to survive without access to food, clean water, hygiene supplies, or basic shelter.
AusRelief is launching an urgent emergency appeal to deliver life-saving assistance to thousands of vulnerable people, including children, elderly individuals and families who have already been displaced multiple times since the 2024 conflict.
