Grocery Drive Program
Grocery Drive Program
We're turning everyday shopping into meaningful support.
Our Grocery Drive Program is a practical, community-led initiative supporting families across Sydney with ongoing groceries and essential items.
Through partnerships with selected Woolworths, Coles and IGA stores, AusRelief collection tubs are placed in local supermarkets, making it easy for shoppers to contribute a few extra essentials during their weekly shop.
From there, our team collects, sorts and distributes donations to local schools, women’s shelters, families experiencing financial pressure, and individuals accessing urgent support through our local programs.
More than a food collection program, the Grocery Drive helps power a broader network of local community support — including crisis care, women’s support initiatives, school support programs and emergency assistance.
What makes this program especially meaningful is the people behind it
Our Grocery Drive is supported by a team of young people with disabilities who are involved in every stage of the process, from collections and sorting to deliveries and community engagement. Through the program, they build confidence, develop practical skills and create strong connections within the community.
This is community supporting community, in more ways than one.
