My wife recently travelled to Turkey and visted the Syrian refugee camps. As she shared her experiences and photos, I realised that so many of the children weren't wearing any shoes. Meanwhile at home, I have a closet full of sneakers I've never worn.
But instead of feeling guilty and doing nothing about it, I want to use my privilege to impact change.
This Ramadan, I'm raising funds for those children in the refugee camps. Your donation will go towards providing Syrian children with the essentials that we take for granted. Together, we can make a difference and give them hope this Ramadan.
But to make it more interesting, and to feel like I'm really sacrificing something..
Every donor who donates over $200 to my campaign will go in the draw to win one of my prized possessions - my beloved Air Jordan 1 Retro High "University Blue" (size 11).
I'll choose a winner at random after Eid inshaAllah!

Wishing you all a blessed Ramadan, and thank you to everyone who has supported, shared and joined my cause!
