We will be joining the Tumut Cycle Classic in January 2021 and riding 40km throughout the Riverina to raise funds for much-needed Anaesthetic Equipment, which hopefully will permanently bring in an Anaesthetist to Tumut:
1. Video laryngoscope with blades. This is for intubation. So basically, the Anaesthetist can see through the screen what they are doing. This is very useful for patients who are expected to be difficult to intubate and the high risk patient and the overweight patient.
2. BIS. Monitor: this measures the depth of anaesthesia in a patient, this way the anaesthetist knows for sure that patient is not aware what is happening through the procedure.
3. High nasal flow print humidifier
4. Anaesthetist trolley: has in it whatever the Anaesthetist needs to perform anaesthesia, epidural and/or spinal tap. High standard for big hospitals and we would like Tumut Hospital to have this.
Having the power to improve the lives of others is a privilege, and together with our team of kind hearts, we are honoured to be able to make a difference to families who are faced with life or death situations.
We are hoping to raise $30,000, and would be honoured to receive your support on this journey, as every donation counts.
