Rawah Arja is an acclaimed writer and teacher from Western Sydney. Her passion is to write authentic stories that give diverse groups a voice and a sense of belonging, and to explore the Muslim identity. She has featured in writing festivals all over Australia and is currently teaching creative writing workshops in schools, particularly focusing on youth in both primary and high schools.
Rawah is the project coordinator of the Education and WASH programs & oversees food projects both nationally and internationally. In addition, she manages our Grocery Drive Program that allows families in need to receive monthly food parcels. Rawah enjoys working in the humanitarian field as it gives her a sense of purpose and allows her to help create a positive change to those less fortunate in the world.
