Here in Turkey, a country so wealthy and so modern, is overwhelmed with refugees from neighboring Syria - even now that hostilities have died down.
It is also heart-wrenching to see so many refugees (mainly woman, children and the elderly) living without shelter.
And despite what is being said on the news, refugees have not returned to their homes - millions upon millions don’t have homes to return to.
In fact, the UN reports that over 2,500,000 unregistered refugees move of their own accord around Turkey.
